Rothes Glen is a Highland castle near Rothes, built in 1893 by renowned whisky architect Charles Chree Doig and immaculately renovated by current owners Damian and Pippa Riley-Smith. Nestled in 11 acres of picturesque grounds, with 14 opulent en suite bedrooms, this enchanting castle is a haven of luxury and refinement. Its grandeur is further enhanced by its magnificent drawing room, the dining room is the perfect setting for indulging in sumptuous meals, and the breakfast room offers a delightful start to the day. The library beckons with its shelves lined with literary treasures and the snooker room provides entertainment for those with a competitive spirit. The tasting room offers a chance to savour the finest spirits and wines, while the whisky vault is a haven for connoisseurs, housing an impressive collection of rare and aged whiskies. The tower room offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and outdoor terraces invite guests to get closer to the beautiful grounds, while heated kennels ensure that furry companions are well cared for. With its charming lochan and serene atmosphere, the castle is a sanctuary of elegance and tranquillity.
