The Luxury Castle for Whisky Connoisseurs

Extensively refurbished from 2020 to 2022, Rothes Glen is a luxury, exclusive-use castle sleeping up to 28 guests providing traditional Highland hospitality. There are new fixtures and fittings throughout the castle, including a magnificent family kitchen; natural fires and stoves in four ground floor rooms; Wi-Fi in all rooms; and replumbing and rewiring of the whole property.

During your stay at Rothes Glen you can enjoy a wide selection of indoor and outdoor games throughout the gardens and grounds, which extend to 11 acres and include a private lochan with rowing boat, rose terrace and fountain terrace. There is a helipad in the front meadow.

The gardens and grounds of Rothes Glen are extensive, private, and have been lovingly restored since we bought the castle in 2019. Rothes Glen is accessed via a long driveway lined with cherry trees and is surrounded by formal gardens, a scenic meadow, and a private lochan.
